Pleasure Beach Theme Park / Amusement Park lies in 42 acres, and started with just one ride in 1896, and celebrated its Centenary in 1996. Pleasure Beach, Blackpool remains Britain's number one tourist attraction. With over 6.2 million visitors now travelling to Britain's No. 1 Resort Theme Park every year, no wonder they call it The Entertainment Adventure Capital of The World.

There's something for everyone at Pleasure Beach Theme Park / Amusement Park, Blackpool. There are over 125 rides and attractions. The theme park / amusement park has everything from thrilling white-knuckle rides - the Big Dipper, Grand National and the Avalanche - to more leisurely cruises around the River Caves and Alice's Wonderland. There's the world's first interactive maze and, especially for kids - Beaver Creek Theme Park, home to Bradley Beaver and his very own Log Flume.

Brace yourself for The Big One, Pleasure Beach biggest, fastest, scariest coaster will have you shaking in anticipation and screaming in delight. At a towering height of 235 ft it holds the crown as one of Europe’s tallest rollercoasters offering three adrenaline packed minutes of coasting.

Indoors

If the weather is not so favourable or the rides are not for you the Blackpool Pleasure Beach has many indoor activities to keep you entertained.

There are over 6 major arcades located around Pleasure Beach with high tech simulation experiences, state of the art video technology games, immersive virtual reality systems and challenging skill games.

You will be bowled over when you see the themed bowling alley. Set in the days when dinosaurs ruled the land this bowling alley provides the perfect game of 10-pin bowling.

You can learn to skate in the Pleasure Beach Theme Park / Amusement Park Arena

If you enjoy a fright Deep in the bowels of the Horror Crypt on Ocean Boulevard you will find ghosts and monsters waiting to greet you in this haunted walk through attraction, or try Pasaje del Terror Located in the basement of the casino building where some of the scariest horror movie characters waiting for you to visit. With real live actors inside expect big screams from this terrifying attraction!

There are many entertainment shows on offer for you to see including a spectacular ice show and a dancing water show.


The Big Blue Hotel

Opening Times

Varying opening times, in winter it only opens on weekends, and throughout summer open 7 days a week, opening times vary between 10:00am and 11:00am and closing times between 17:00pm and 20:00pm please contact the park to ask for specific opening times.

Prices

Unlimited riding wristbands are available and prices vary depending on time of year, range between £20-£30 please contact the park for specific prices.

Getting there

From the M6 motorway, exit at Junction 32 onto the M55. At the end of the M55, follow signs for Blackpool, South Shore (via Blackpool Airport) and then follow the brown tourist signs to the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool.
